Kiehl's released 2 new facial masks earlier in March this year. One is the Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energising Radiance Mask, another is Cilantro and Orange Extract Pollutant Defending Masque. Kiehl's is known for their generous sample, they always distribute sample whenever I purchase something, this time they gave me 2 packets of the Turmeric mask to try out.
This mask is formulated with turmeric to even our complexion and crushed cranberry seed for gentle exfoliation. It claims to 'instantly' brighten and energize our dull and fatigue skin, also to restore healthy and rosy complexion. That sounds pretty amazing to me! Honestly talking, I really do feel that my skin has somehow lost its vibrance and radiance little by little without me noticing until I looked back to my old picture. Anyone experiencing the same issue as me, or is it just me?
HOW TO USE: Apply generously all over face, and let it sit for around 10-15 minutes to dry. After fully dried, add a bit of water to palm and massage the cranberry seed to gently exfoliate our dead skin and rinse it off.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the pack is that it smells so good like orange milkshake. The texture is so creamy and smooth, making it easy to apply on skin. Just after 1 minute of application, I could feel that it is super refreshing and does tingle tad bit due to menthol in one of the ingredients. After around 5 minutes, I feel that the mask became quite tight, let's see whether it'll firm my skin. The whole mask on my face only took 10 minutes to be fully dry. Also, the crushed cranberry seeds are gentle enough to exfoliate my sensitive skin without leaving redness or irritation.
After I washed this mask, I could see that my overall complexion becomes more even, more luminous and glowing. Also, my skin feels firmer and I really love the result as it really does what it claims. I think this mask could benefit all skin type from dry to combination even acne-prone skin like mine because it doesn't dry the skin or cause break out. This mask also would be extra useful for special occasion such as parties, proms or whenever our skin needs that extra 'umph' to look glowing and the best thing is that it only takes 10 minutes or so.
